ST_AUGUSTINE

‘There are a variety of gifts but always the same spirit; there are all sorts of service to be done but always the same Lord working in all sorts of ways in different people, it is the same God who is working in all of them.  The particular way in which the Spirit is given to each person is for a good purpose.’  (Corinthians 12: 4-7)

It is in the spirit of this quotation and linking it to our mission statement that we welcome children into our school.  This recognises the uniqueness of each child and their right to an education, which will enable them to fulfil their true potential morally, spiritually, socially and academically.

We value the abilities and achievements of all of our children and we are committed to providing for the best possible learning environment for each pupil.  We believe that all children should be equally valued in school.  We will strive to eliminate prejudice and discrimination, and to develop an environment where all children can flourish and feel safe.

We aim to give all of our children every opportunity to develop their full potential in all areas of the curriculum and we value the trust placed in us as we journey together to provide the best possible outcomes for every child.

At St Augustine’s we strive to achieve our aims through a strong partnership between governors, staff, children, parents and Parish. We are proud of our school and do our best to provide a high quality experience for children and parents alike.

We are always happy to show parents around the school so that the atmosphere and ethos can be experienced first-hand.
