Safeguarding

At St Augustine's Catholic Primary School, safeguarding is of the highest importance and we believe that every child has the right to be happy, healthy and safe. To ensure this happens we constantly review our practice and procedures in line with local and national guidance.

In school we have a dedicated Safeguarding Team who are trained to deal with all aspects of Safeguarding. Our team includes:

DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) - Mrs A Towey

Deputy DSL - Mr D Bentley

Safeguarding Governor - Mrs H Eden

If you have any safeguarding concern, please speak to a member of our designated Safeguarding Team.

The policies and documents below outline how we at St Augustine's create a culture of safeguarding and manage any safeguarding issues or situations.
