HOLY WEEK 2023
Every child participated in part of our special prayers, reflection and preparation for Holy Week. KS1 performed a Palm Sunday play where we celebrated Jesus' triumphant entrance into Jerusalem. However the children showed that even on this happy day, there were people who were jealous of Jesus and who were plotting to have him arrested.
Year 3 respectfully re-enacted the Last Supper where Jesus washed the feet of his friends to teach them that they should serve others as he did. Year 4, 5 and 6 told the story of Good Friday and allowed us the opportunity to hear about the events of that day, and refelct upon Jesus' sacrifice for us all. Thank you to Fr Peter and Kate, our Chair of Govenors, for attending. It was lovely to hear how impressed you were with the children's efforts and behaviour during this special time of reflection.
